We are seeking a highly skilled Events Network Technician to join our team for a high-profile 2-month project. This is not a desk job; you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining mission-critical network infrastructure in demanding outdoor event environments.
The successful candidate will lead the technical setup for a major project, you will work initially in Hampshire preparing and configuring equipment, then then complete a 3-week overseas deployment in Europe. You must be comfortable working with temporary infrastructure (truss, outdoor enclosures, point-to-point links) and ensuring 100% uptime in a live event setting.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy and manage temporary Wi-Fi and wired networks for large-scale outdoor events.
Configure and troubleshoot multi-vendor hardware (Meraki, Fortinet, MikroTik, Ubiquiti).
Install and align long-range wireless backhaul and point-to-point links.
