About the Role
Join the Met Office as a React Full Stack Developer and help deliver critical upgrades to our digital platforms. You'll work on modern web applications, ensuring robustness, scalability, and security in a fast paced Agile environment.
As a React Full Stack Developer your main responsibilities will be to:
Operate and support the production services you build.
Build and maintain large-scale React applications following best practices.
Write clean, secure, test-driven code in TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+).
Deploy, manage and monitor AWS services (Lambda, EC2, S3, CloudWatch).
Contribute to Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
Lead development work across multiple tasks and guide team members.
Explain architecture and design decisions confidently to colleagues.
Take responsibility for code and services in production, including incident management.
