Job Role : Information & Cyber Security Ops Assurance Analys t Daily Rate : £ 325- 450 Function : CISO - CIO Location : Henry Duncan House, 120 George St, Edinburgh EH2 4LH Duration : Till December with possible extension Hello, we 're TSB, and we 're different from other banks. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Information Security The core purpose of the role is to act as a key member of a small, focused team of security operations assurance personnel with deep technical, IT Security and risk management and assurance skills. The Team will oversee the overall operations of TSB and our suppliers regarding information and cyber security and integrate with the wider CISO function to offer strategic oversight of all elements of IT Security in the bank You will focus on the effective oversight and assurance of day-to-day operations in adherence to the bank 's information security policy and standards, as well as regulatory and legal requirements. You will liaise with peers across the wider CISO Team, other IT and third party security Teams and the Security Operations Centre (SOC) on a daily basis to provide assurance that our IT Security systems are working effectively and as expected. Today Ideally, you 'll currently have these skills and experience: Strong academics, including a minimum of 2.1 degree or equivalent relevant industry experience Experience of the operation of large-scale security operations solutions in a large and complex environment. In-depth technical knowledge of several areas of IT Security, such as Identity and Access Management; Single Sign On; Secure communications and network protection; Data protection and privacy; Security Management; Audit; Cryptographic services; and Security Assurance and Maturity Assessment. Proven track record of day to day hands on delivery of IT Security solutions within an organisation. Experience of day to day cyber operations, including the maintenance and monitoring of a production IT environment, systems access and data prevention tools. Demonstrable skills in analysis and communication of complex technical concepts and production of related reports. Experience in assisting and providing relevant direction to vulnerability audits, penetration tests or related investigations, ensuring any findings are fed into projects to improving the organisation 's overall IT Security. Up-to-date knowledge of cyber and information security trends and threats facing financial services. Tomorrow It takes more than just skills and experience. Engage with the Change process, build in an effective security review regime and ensuring BAU changes do not reduce our cyber protection. Respond to Alerts coming from the SOC, following through within TSB and the Cyber Response Manager and closing with the Group CSIRT. Develop trends analysis and measurement of performance against meaningful SLAs and KPIs for cyber alerts and other BAU reporting. Develop and maintain close working relationships with business stakeholders, IT & operational teams, especially the Security Operations Centre.
