Digital Advisory Panel (DAP) Board Member Reports to: Chair, Head of Governance Salary: £500 per day (c.1 day per month)
Job Purpose
The Digital Advisory Panel (DAP) provides specialist, evidence-based insight and advice to the Commission to inform regulation. They help ensure that the Commission’s policies, regulations and approach are informed by the latest digital developments, industry best-practices, and stakeholder insight. This includes:
- Advising on digital developments and trends, and how the gambling industry may operationalise them - Identifying threats and opportunities to the Commission’s regulation of gambling posed by new technology and the evolving digital landscape - Reviewing specific topics and making appropriate recommendations - Providing guidance or other input to specific projects or policies
