Solution Architect eCOMMERCE/ERP/SALESFORCE About: Mosaic Island are experts in Design and Assurance of complex IT change - from strategy through to delivery - enabling our clients to accelerate and exceed their business ambitions with confidence. As part of a new and highly exciting project, we have a requirement for Solution Architect with an eCommerce background to join the team, working on a transformation programme. The Solution Architect will be responsible for delivering technical solutions and advising the business on the best technical options. Skills & Experience Required: Strong experience in software engineering/architecture at a senior level with recent experience as a Solution Architect Architect Experience with eCommerce platforms, such as XML/XSD, REST, JSON, NodeJS, React, Google Cloud, Databases, Queues. Experience of Salesforce (SFCC/Demandware beneficial) Other technologies in use that would be useful to have knowledge and experience of: ColdFusion, C#.net core, Typescript, SQL server, MySQL, RabbitMQ, Microservices, APIs Systems integration experience including warehouse management, inventory management, order management, ERP, Marketing and Transactional email, CRM, Agile development Assessing technical solutions and presenting them to technical and non technical audiences Analysing existing technologies and identifying things to keep, improve or replace Lead the technical recommendations for build/buy decisions We are paying competitive rates for this role with the opportunity to work on an exciting cutting-edge consultancy engagement on an initial 6 month basis (highly likely to extend beyond this). The role will be based at our client's office in Bath.
