Role Title: Elasticsearch Data Engineer   Contract Length: 6 months   Engagement Type: PAYE or Umbrella   Location:  Remote with ~1 day per week in the client’s Buckinghamshire office   The Role The client is setting up an IT remediation platform to monitor their IT estate and generate metrics, reporting and alerts to facilitate the remediation of IT issues such as patches or upgrades. This platform will ingest multiple datasets such as system metrics, syslogs, network logs, vulnerability scan data and so on into their Elasticsearch cluster via a Kafka message broker. Once the data is ready for analysis in Elasticsearch, metrics and reports as described above will be created for continuous monitoring.
