Solution Architect at Primark, Reading/Remote, 3 Months, £Day Rate Negotiable

Solution Architect / 3 month contract / Day rate negotiable / Hybrid(Reading office 1 day per week)

Here at Primark we have an exciting opportunity for an immediately available Solution Architect to join us on an initial 3 month contract, with hybrid working where you must be willing to travel to Reading at least once a week.

We are all about blending technology with the world of fashion, home goods, and more to craft memorable shopping experiences that bridge the gap between the digital and physical worlds.

The scope of work is that our existing product markdown solution is becoming end of life.

We urgently need to provide a tactical solution for our stores in order to maintain markdown capability whilst we work on a strategic platform moving forward. The tactical solution has actually been developed and tested with dummy data. We need a Solution Architect to define, design & manage the data integration between our product systems (RMS / PSM) and the tactical markdown application.

Scope:

● Design data integration between PSM/RMS and markdown application within Primark architecture principals / guidelines / best practices.

● Document design and seek approval through Primark's architecture design authority

● Manage internal stakeholders and supplier in relation to data integration to drive the right outcome.

What we are looking for in a Solution Architect for this role:

We are looking for a Solution Architect who can tolerate and manage change effectively, someone who is sure of themselves in their decisions and able to be present in the moment.

The Solution Architect best suited for this role will have exceptional stakeholder manager skills both internal and external along with in-depth integration experience.

Please note, to be considered for this role we can only accept candidates who are happy to work through an umbrella company, this is non-negotiable.
