#C and .NET developer at Kasookoo, Remote/London, 3-4 Months initial, £500 per day (Outside IR35)

Who We Are Looking For

We are on the hunt for a highly skilled and seasoned Senior C# Developer to join our dynamic team in a leading fintech company. This is a greenfield project where you'll have the opportunity to shape and influence the development of a cutting-edge financial platform.

Overview

This role is perfect for a professional with a deep passion for coding and a knack for solving complex problems. We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running in a high-paced environment. The initial contract is for 3-4 months, with a strong likelihood of extension for an additional 6 months based on performance and project needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement robust C# code in a greenfield project environment.
• Create and maintain APIs, ensuring they are efficient, secure, and scalable.
• Develop and execute comprehensive unit tests for every component developed.
• Work with Microsoft Azure Functions to enhance the cloud capabilities of our applications.
• Leverage GraphQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Utilize SQL Server for database management and integration.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones and deliverables.
• Excellent understanding of writing unit tests, integration tests and of frameworks like nUnit and xUnit

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 7 years' experience in software development, specifically with C#.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex software engineering problems.
• Proficient in writing clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
• Experience in developing APIs and comprehensive unit tests.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Functions and SQL Server.
• Familiarity with GraphQL.
• Prior exposure to libraries like HotChocolate and Bananashake is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
