Front End Web Developer at Sanders + Jay Ltd, Royston, £250-£450 per day

Who are we?

We are Sanders + Jay, an independent, 360 creative agency based in Royston, Hertfordshire. With a passion for innovative design and a commitment to delivering exceptional results, we provide a full range of services including web design, branding, and marketing.

We have a team of in-house experts from design creatives, digital marketers, to videographers and photographers supported by account and project managers who work directly with our clients. We work with a diverse portfolio of clients and industries from hospitality, tech, construction and interior design to travel and leisure, so no one day is the same and we take the learnings across all sectors.

We’re looking for a talented intermediate to advanced Front End Developer, to join our growing team - someone who’s effortlessly passionate and proactive and has the ability to work with the web team on site on web projects cohesively and independantly.

Must be able to commute to Royston, Hertfordshire for regular meetings.

The position

Will be working alongside our existing web team, so must be able to work as a team and pick up similar working styles and procedures so the team can all work cohesively on active web projects.

The individual will be responsible for the execution of the look, feel and functionality of our website designs created in XD and deliver against the tech build, specifically working on technical aspects such as custom css code, dynamic technical features and specific client third party plugins.

You’ll support the wider team in the delivery of effective web development plans, builds and work with a whole range of clients in various industries.

Experience

• Designing, developing, building new websites
• Predominantly building in WordPress and using Elementor Pro
• Writing Custom CSS code
• Working on technical dynamic features
• Working on a variety of specific third party plugins
• Website maintenance support
• 2+ years experience in a similar role

Desired

• Experience with working with an agency
• Good understanding of IT security, third party plugins and dynamic features
• Ability to use Adobe Suite (XD, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator)
