Your role and impact:
As we work towards becoming Europe's largest dynamic package holiday operator, your role in Financial Planning & Analysis is crucial. You will help build our reporting infrastructure, using tools like Anaplan, Excel, and G-sheets. Your responsibilities will include creating budget and forecast packs, automating month-end reporting processes, and ensuring accurate departmental cost analysis. You will also be involved in external reporting to regulators and insurers. This role may require occasional presence in London.
Your day-to-day tasks:
- Create and maintain annual budget and forecast timelines
- Produce high-quality budget and forecast packs for executives and board members
- Enhance our overhead planning process for better visibility of costs
- Manage cash flow forecasting and analyze variances
- Prepare materials and reports for investment committee meetings
- Produce monthly finance packs and detailed commentary on results
- Conduct month-end overheads review and investigate variances
- Collaborate with the Accounting team for accurate month-end close
- Analyze variable costs and provide clear commentary
- Prepare and distribute financial reports
- Ensure accurate and timely external reporting to regulators and insurers
Your skills and qualifications:
- Ability to collaborate effectively with non-finance stakeholders
- Strong communication skills to explain financial insights to non-financial colleagues
- Experience in process improvements and automation
- Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven
- Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Proficiency in financial modeling and using financial software/tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with Anaplan is a plus
Desirable but not necessary:
- Experience with G-Suite
- Experience in the travel industry and/or e-commerce

The interview process:
- First stage: 1-hour meeting with the Head of Commercial Finance (Hiring Manager)
- Second stage: 30-minute meeting with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
