RPG Software Programmer at Ticket Zone Limited, Remote, £50-£60 per hour

Responsibilities:
Maintain our legacy IBM based software applications using RPG2
Some knowledge of PHP and working with exterior API's would be useful but not essential
There may be some additional requirement to develop, test, and enhance our legacy software applications
Create and maintain technical support documentation
Debug and resolve software defects and issues
Collaborate with team members to implement fixes and enhancements

Requirements:
UK based
Strong proficiency in RPG2
Experience with database management systems
Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices including a strong understanding of security best practices
Experience with debugging tools and techniques for application development
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication and collaboration skills

Hours:
We expect this post to require circa 180 hours per annum.
