About The Role

Description of Services:                    

We are seeking a contractor to operate within our Technical Service Delivery team. They will be responsible for working closely with a project team and our customers to successfully deliver the migration of customer solutions between data centres in two geographic locations within required timeframes.

This is a technical engineering role with responsibilities primarily focused on:

  • Reviewing device configurations which provide network connectivity to customer solutions –this comprises of Cisco, Fortinet and Juniper technologies
  • Configuration of these devices to enable the migration of equipment between geographical locations
  • Completion of migrations - working with other engineers and associated customers where necessary
  • Providing analysis, feedback, advice and resolving customer and internal issues
  • Troubleshooting and rectification of issues associated with the implementation and\or change of customer solutions
  • Supporting the wider Claranet teams in migration activities

There is a requirement to work both in and out of hours as required; covering build and then migration of customers’ managed network equipment
