About this role
We're providing critical traditional telecoms and IT networks solutions across multiple sites. This is a flagship project with business critical outcomes. As a Business Analyst working with us on this project you'll be working closely with tech teams on a traceability matrix whilst looking at low level process design and capturing requirements.
Champion and contribute to the Business Analysis practice within the chapter, developing practices, tools, knowledge and capability to support the delivery of large, complex business initiatives.
Contribute to the Service Design, articulate and define impacts on the end-to-end operational service model, ensuring business processes are designed to meet the target experience for both customers and colleagues.
Run detailed process design workshops engaging multiple stakeholders e.g. Technology, Product Line, operational subject matter experts, ensuring end to end business process enables a great customer and colleague experience
Capture user and business requirements; elicit, analyse, challenge, prioritise and document the end-to-end Service Design requirements
Document and maintain design artefacts (e.g. service blueprints, process designs, user requirements) to the appropriate BT standards.
Define appropriate quality measures and targets for the Service Design
Support the readiness of our operational colleagues through detailed knowledge transfer and low-level process design
Create post launch documentation including updating business process and business architecture artefacts
Identify improvement opportunities and feed these into the agreed delivery backlog
Be the subject matter expert on Business Analysis. Provide business analysis and process design coaching and support to peers and project teams.

Business analysis Tools, techniques and methodologies such as;
Business requirements definition and management. Creating use cases, user stories, Business Requirement Specifications, backlog management
Business process design and modelling Analyse and document business processes and workflows with the objective of understanding as-is state, in order to define the to-be state
Analysis of business processes and workflows with the objective of finding out how they can be improved or automated
Managing high levels of ambiguity – Able to deal with uncertainty and risk and adapt to change
Business improvement methodologies i.e Continuous Improvement, Lean, Design for Six Sigma etc
Stakeholder Management - comfortable in front of audiences at all levels of seniority (up to exec level)
Testing, Trial & Validation techniques working with project stakeholders to validate their requirements and analysis models via techniques such as reviews, walkthroughs and User Acceptance testing
