Key Purpose
This is a contractor role for 6 months and will fall "outside IR35"
Responsible for Design, Development, Integration, Test of embedded VxWorks solutions for SSTL products
Key Tasks
- Development of Board Support Packages for SSTL custom hardware
- Development of Real Time Processes to operate SSTL Spacecraft
- Integration and test of embedded software solutions in SSTL Spacecraft
- Peer review of own and colleagues work
Skills & Experience
- 5 + years Embedded SW Development
- Developing BSP in VxWorks 6.9x and VxWorks 7
- Developing RTP in VxWorks 6.9x and VxWorks 7
- Degree in Electronics / Software Engineering
- Expert in Real Time operating systems
- Communication / working in multi skilled teams (vertical product integration)
- Knowledge of IP stack
- Knowledge of CAN, SERIAL & I2C
- Knowledge of Configuration Management systems
- Internal design, and customer facing documentation
