GTS is Quilter Group’s primary engine for the delivery of business and technology change including the provision of robust infrastructure and IT service operations that Quilter can depend upon.

The Technology team within GTS are delivering a number of transformational activities including the Application and Infrastructure Transformation Programmes (ATP and ITP). The team is looking to hire a dynamic Azure Engineer to bring real-world experience of delivery of IaC within Azure to our organisation. The key aim of the portfolio is to optimise, rationalise and consolidate applications and infrastructure to build future-oriented services aligned to the business strategy.

Location: Remote – Work from Home – UK Wide

Contract type: Day Rate Contractor

Contract Duration: 6 Months

 

You will be part of a team that values working together, supporting each other and delivering high quality change to enable our people and our business to prosper. 

 

As part of that team, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering projects; working in partnership with Infrastructure Designers and Architects to ensure delivery in line with agreed milestones, priorities, standards and budget.

• Being a lead Azure technical resource that the team can rely upon for confirmation

• Deliver and maintain IaC for all project deliverables

• Ensuring LLDs are challenged, where appropriate, in line with industry best practices

 

 

About You

 

The Azure Engineer will have experience of both infrastructure and applications, preferably in an enterprise environment.

 

Experience in a financial sector is not essential, however would be advantageous as the delivery of new platforms can involve a level of business understanding within a well governed change environment.

 

You will be able to maintain focus and have a strong drive for results, operating calmly in high pressure situations.

 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate credibility, professionalism and strong personal integrity, acting as a role model for the Quilter values - Pioneering, Dependable, Stronger Together.

• Development, Test and Production Infrastructure Deployment via Azure Pipelines

• Application Deployment via Azure Pipelines
