Programme Transition Lead Inside IR35

Contract Term: Until 31st of March 2023

Contracting Authority: DEFRA

Location: London, Reading, Crewe

The role requires skills in stakeholder and change management and experience in transition that would ideally be suited to a candidate with recent central government assignments involving implementation planning and delivery of commercial systems with end users including communications and training and working with software and implementation supplier partners. Such systems as Sourcing systems, Purchase to Pay systems and Customer Management Systems.

As a Programme Transition Lead your main responsibilities would be: 

  • Lead the Defra group Commercial transition to the Commercial Systems Transformation Programme end state
  • Responsible for the integrated DgC transition plan, impact assessment and dependency plan management
  • Manage and deliver the Communications Plan for the Programme with internal and external (Business) stakeholders
  • Stakeholder manage relationships with Group Corporate Services functions – Comms, Change and DDTS
  • Develop, manage and maintain the New Systems DgC Training Plan
  • Plan and deliver the transition governance for all projects and for the E-Commercial Systems Project manage the transition governance forum
  • Specific activities for the E-Commercial System Project implementation (see Appended)
