Performance Test Lead - Remote, Contract, £600/day
We are looking for a highly skilled and expereineced performance test lead with at least 10 years experience of performance testing.
You will have worked with a variety of performance testing tools, both commercial and opensource.
If you have SAP performance test experience that would make you the ideal candidate, though this is not essential.
Following go-live of a major transformation project, there is a new emphasis on application performance our customer is experiencing. While there are existing performance test assets in place, they have not been used for nearly 12 months. A performance test lead is required to evaluate performance risks for a number of applications and components, review the performance test assets that have been previously used and develop a plan that includes scope and approach for resuming performance testing activities.
The performance lead will have experience and expertise to guide the customer to the best possible outcome, providing expert consultancy. Following a planning phase, the Non Functional Test Lead will move to leading the delivery phase for performance testing. While the initial phase is not a hands on to start with, the delivery phase will require hands on technical skills to develop performance testing assets, completion of technical documentation and analysis and review of performance results.
The Lead will be fully accountable for the delivery of the Non Functional Testing ensuring that technical deliverables are achieved and that team resources are managed effectively.

The role can be mainly carried out remotely but with an initial kick off (one or two days) on client site in Lancashire (travel/accommodation expenses covered) and perhaps a wrap up session at the end of project.
