The Role: 
Reporting directly to the Head of Cyber Security you will help to ensure Launchpad, and our portfolio companies, build and run their products securely. You will do this using industry-leading cyber security technologies and approaches across infrastructure, cloud and application security.
We are looking for a Security Consultant to manage a selection of security tools and deploy them into our portfolio companies to help them implement CIS (Center for Internet Security) Controls and Safeguards. 
You'll do this by:
    • Designing access controls and deployment patterns for our key software services, which include Salt Security, Snyk Security, Aqua CSPM, and Cyber Risk Aware
    • Working directly with our portfolio to implement these systems
    • Advise and support our portfolio to implement CIS Controls across cloud and on-premises 
    • Getting hands-on to implement things yourself
    • Building reference architectures and documentation when required 
    • Introduce new security tooling and evangelise the use of these throughout the various portfolio companies
    • Performing technical due diligence on organisations identified for potential acquisition
We'll need you to bring:
    • Deep hands-on experience of implementing effective cyber security controls
    • Strong interpersonal skills working with external teams and stakeholders, ideally gained working in a consulting role or organisation
    • A solid foundation of both security engineering and infosec knowledge
    • Experience designing secure cloud environments and cloud security tools (e.g.CSPM, Aqua, Wiz, Sysdig)
    • Bonus points for experience with IoT security – Edge computing, embedded systems, automation security
Please note, the status determination for this contract is inside IR35. Contract rates will be competitive and based on experience - we will have an open discussion before proceeding to interview. We expect the contract to be 3 - 6months.
