The role

As Copywriting Project Manager , you will be responsible for various types of project management and administration tasks to support client projects and the eBusiness Institute Head of Copy.

Key responsibilities

● Set-up and maintain project tracking forms, files and folders

● Audit and organise copywriting source materials from clients for delivery to copywriters

● Liaise with clients, internal teams and partners to ensure all necessary files, information and attachments are sent, received and distributed to the relevant copywriters and proofreaders accurately and timely

● Maintain project movement in line with set timelines between clients and copywriters, to ensure copywriting files are delivered on time

● Act as the point of finalisation for copywriting files

● Maintain communication with our external translation partner and assist in project management, obtaining quotations and costing

● Maintain up to date tracking of projects and ensure the copywriting schedule is accurate at all times

● Proactively contribute to processes to improve efficiencies within the organisation and between internal teams

● Prepare and maintain documents as required using Microsoft Office

What you need to succeed

● Excellent communication skills (written and oral)

● Excellent organisation and planning skills

  • Experience working across multicultural teams

● A proactive approach of improving efficiencies within the organisation

● Knowledge of computer programmes used in daily office administration functions, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Plus the ability to learn specialised internal office management tools, such as Basecamp

● Logical and organised approach to creating and maintaining documents and processes

● Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to carry out research and bring solutions

● An aptitude for Excel spreadsheets

● An exceptional eye for detail is essential

● An excellent level of British English grammar

● The ability to handle confidential information sensitively

● To act as contact point for certain projects in the absence of the Head of Copy

● The ability to work on multiple projects within strict deadlines

Your background

● Proven skills in business administration, project coordination or another related subject

● 2+ years of relevant experience

● Strong numeracy skills

● Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office

● You must be self-employed

● Based in England
