Agile Delivery Manager at Layer7, Remote/Manchester, 8 Months, £650 per day

This is a role with a large government org, who are using integration services to drive change and transform ways of working and digital operations.

You will have an excellent working knowledge of the Agile life cycle and by the nature of the role, execute day to day delivery, development of milestone plans, managing risk and dependencies. Running Agile Ceremonies, contributing to the overall reporting of the product Delivery Teams, upholding DWP values, working within Government Digital Standards

Need to have Delivery Management experience, preferably agile. Able to Sprint plan, lead Agile Squad, manage risks, feed into broader roadmaps, conduct Agile ceremonies, Stakeholder engagement, reporting, dependency management.

knowledge of delivering Integration components desirable but not essential, a sound understanding of technical issue resolution is also required

• Experience in managing a Digital/Technical Delivery, with 3 years previous experience
• Risk Management: Issues and Dependencies and able to influence stakeholders
• Stakeholder Management, Communication, presentation and faciliation, able to run key Agile Ceremonies such as stand-up retrospectives.
• Demonstrate experience of working in a large scale organisation and/or Government or Public Sector installation of a digital integration product
• Providing support and guidance to members of the delivery teams and acting as a point of escalation for issues impacting delivery.
• Experience of stakeholder engagment, managing stakeholder expectation, ensuring stakeholders are kept up to date with progress, risks and issues
• Ability to plan sprints and undertake Milestone Planning .
• Remove blockers from the Agile sprints to allow the squads to complete stories assigned or escalate where appropriate

BPSS clearance is required, and applicants must be eligible to work in either Newcastle and/or Manchester for 2 days per week, the rest remote. Please state your location preference on your application
