Lead Agile Project Manager - Contract Role
Answer Digital is a successful digital transformation agency based in Leeds City Centre. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Lead Agile Project Manager to work as part of our delivery teams in enabling successful outcomes for our clients
The Role:
Our Delivery practice is a growing and evolving part of the business which offers the opportunity to work with a range of diverse technologies across multiple business domains and project environments. We are looking for Agile Project Managers to join established teams for project delivery to national-scale projects
Responsibilities include:
The Lead Agile PM will initiate, plan, facilitate and motivate agile project teams, and is accountable for the successful delivery of project engagements;
Manage and empower Scrum teams in delivery of solutions and outcomes
Support, guide and coach high-performing teams
Measure and analyse team performance and quality and actively drive improvements
Act as a catalyst for change with Project/Programme capability and with clients to embrace new ways of working
Facilitate project and programme reviews with clients (up to C-level)
Establish effective and proportionate project/programme governance meeting both client and Answer Digital needs
Lead of commercial activity Statement of work creation, estimation, budgeting and cost management
Foster strong and open relationships with Senior Client Management and seek new business opportunities
Facilitate user story workshops to elicit requirements from the project and client stakeholders
Identify areas of improvement for the Delivery Team and enable them to implement planned change
Ensure transparency in the Management of project risks and issues, and communicate effectively to internal and external stakeholders
Mentor team and capability peers
The Successful Applicant:
To be successful in this role you should;

Broad understanding of delivery techniques, Agile, Waterfall, bi-modal and how to apply them in the correct context / environment

Your experience will include:
A minimum of 3 years relevant experience leading change delivery
You have experience in an agile software delivery environment, including Scrum and Kanban methodologies
Scrum Master certification is beneficial but not essential
Prince2 Qualification and/or APMP is a bonus
Answer Digital offers hybrid working
