Techncial Data Analyst initial 7 month assignment (extension highly likely)
Retail Banking Edinburgh - remote working
Newtyne is working with our Retail Banking client based in Edinburgh to deliver an important strategic regulatory data analysis project. The purpose of the role is to perform data analysis on particular segments of their customer transactions to meet anti-money laundering regulations and requirements. We now require an experienced Data Analyst to join the project team for an initial 7 month assignment until 31/12/2022. There will be an excellent opportunity to gain experience with a range of technologies and complex datasets.
Required profile:
- Considerable experience as a Technical Data Analyst in Financial Services
- Previous exposure working on large data analysis projects
- Well versed with industry standard data governance principals
- Technical skills with SQL and ideally technologies such as SAS, Teradata and Python
- Highly credible with a professional approach
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Able to work with a range of stakeholders to facilitate requirements gathering, workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions
The day rate will be paid by FCSA accredited umbrella company.
