Emagine is a global professional services consultancy and solutions firm. Our London office specialises in driving innovation of technology and business for the banking and financial services sector. We are looking for a Problem Manager who will be embedded within a global investment bank working with a trading desk support team analysing and solving problem/incident trends. Technical and trade support are pivotal to a sales and trading teams ability to operate. However they themselves encounter technical issues, our Problem Manager will be there to extract information from problematic sources, contributing to the placement of continual improvements in order to reduce and prevent incidents and service outages. Responsibilities • Tracking and recording of emerging and recurring problems, outages and incidents • Performing analysis of incidents to understand impact of problems • Application, platform and tool analysis to establish both implications of and prospective solutions to incidents • Work closely with Incident Managers as well as key tech and business partners in order to better gain an understanding of cause and impact of incidents • Drive if not directly manage end-to-end problem investigation by facilitating or carrying out root cause analysis of incidents • Implement or contribute to the implementation of corrective/preventative measures Experience and Skills for the Problem Manager • Track record of incident reporting, tracking, analysis and/or resolution across a support desk/environment • Strong analytical skills • Experience leveraging Data Science to allow for the demonstration and documentation of patterns • Proven knowledge of FICC (Rates or Fixed Income preferred) • Ability to collaborate cross department to drive problem and incident resolution • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written (up to exec level), detailing anything from post incident reports to resolution proposals • Experience in a ITIL based role and ideally possession of an ITIL certification We offer: • A commitment to an accelerated career pathway, development and learning • To work in an established brand with a startup mentality • Excellent salary • Professional growth within a diverse and global environment If you are up to the challenge and/or would like to find out more, apply or get in touch with us.
