Environment Analyst

6 months day rate

 

We are looking for an experienced IT Environment Analyst who will report directly to IT Environment Manager (team lead), you will be responsible for the delivery and management of environments and associated release codes before they go live for our critical programme IEP.

 

This role is critical for MS Amlin’s IEP programme and at the same time challenging. You will ensure delivery of environment are on time, are fit to use and maintained well for the programme.

What you’ll spend your time doing:
Here’s a snapshot of some of the key parts of the job:

 

  • Environment requirment gathering and documenting them in environment strategy document in alignment with stakeholders
  • Planning and delivery of environments, virtual machine(VM) provisioning – co-ordination with infrastructure team for the delivery of VM’s and associated task
  • Plan and deliver application environment build – co-ordination with application team for setup of application and associated task
  • Understand interfaces setup between environments and Co-ordinate for the setup it and configuration deployments
  • Manage Environment refreshes, and data cuts across the end to end stack
  • Co-ordinate code deployment, environment defects and issues
  • Strong environment management and delivery experience required with complex environment and interfaces

What you’ll need:

For this particular role there are some important qualifications and experience we need you to have. These include:

 

  • Strong experience of environment co-ordination, planning and environment delivery in a complex environment
  • Financial Services experience required
  • Experience in building plans that involve multiple virtual teams
  • Understanding of infrastructure and Azure environment (preferably)
  • Should have technical management understanding of Windows 2008/2012/2019, Active Directory, Team Foundation Server (TFS), IIS, Databases (MS SQL) etc.
  • Exposure to automated deployment and configuration tools
  • Experience of working within a pressured and Agile environment Practical experience of multiple delivery tools: MS Project, Jira, Confluence and how to best to apply them
