The Role:

We're looking for freelance Digital Designers to join us for an exciting project during February and March 2022, with onsite training anticipated to be held at the end of January. The role will likely be working onsite in an office in London. We anticipate the role will fall inside IR35.

The Freelance Digital Designer has strong Photoshop expertise, web and/or HTML email production experience, and an eye for detail to implement content provided by the screen production team.

Digital Designers create new artwork and localise supplied artwork (hardware, screens, lifestyle, etc) in a Photoshop file based on the requirements for the locale, optimises the asset for visual clarity set by the client’s standards, exports the asset into various formats required by the deliverable and checks the assets into a repository. The Digital Designers check their work on various platforms to ensure quality, consistency and correctness.

Requirements

  • Previous proven experience in a hands-on, high-volume web or HTML email design and publishing environment 
  • Photoshop expertise, particularly setting up files for web production and adhering to graphic design standards
  • Excellent design and typography sensibilities applicable to web pages and HTML email
  • Solid standards-based HTML, CSS, and general web publishing knowledge
  • Highly detail oriented, with a drive for perfection down to the last pixel
  • Thrives in a challenging, fast-paced web publishing workplace
