Contract Description

We are looking for someone to conduct quantitative analysis and work with data. Do you have solid experience using PowerBi and evidence of dashboards? If so PSR would like to speak to you.

As Data Analyst you will: 

  • Work in a multi-disciplinary analytical team providing advice, tooling and insight to support the formation of emerging COVID-19 policies and strategy
  • Make use of appropriate visualisation and analytical techniques to propose approaches to conceptualise data and insight, leveraging tooling and resources to address policy challenges and support colleagues in implementing these
  • Contribute to sprint activity, providing and creating interactive visual journeys (particularly in PowerBi) to communicate analytical content, managing deliverables and customer relationships
  • Disseminating and showcasing work product
  • Analyse and assess a range of data and support product development activity, often working to tight timeline.
  • Find, analyse and manipulate data sets to answer policy and operational questions.
  • Communicate and clearly present key insights to key stakeholders


Essential experience:

  • Solid experience using Power BI and evidence of Dashboards
  • Skilled in using a range of quantitative methods to produce robust findings and presenting them to have impact for customers
  • Ability to work in an analytical team
  • Experience of conducting complex analysis, for example:

- Regression (linear, logistic)

- Probability and hypothesis testing

- Clustering

- Machine learning

  • Ability to analyse messy / incomplete data and draw clear insights
  • Ability to communicate research findings clearly
  • Deliver at pace



It would be desirable to have:

  • Experience of working with R, Python, Stata etc.
  • Experience of working in a relevant field (e.g. health-related)
