Contract Senior Project Manager is required - we are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Project Manager to work as part of our delivery teams in enabling successful outcomes for our clients on a key programme of work.

Answer Digital is a successful and award winning digital transformation consultancy based in Leeds City Centre.

Responsibilities include:

  • The Senior Project Manager will initiate, plan, facilitate and motivate agile project teams, and is accountable for the successful delivery of project engagements.
  • Facilitate team ceremonies - Sprint Planning, Review, Retrospective and Standups.
  • Lead "Discovery phases" with clients, establishing the strategic, operational, technical and commercial foundations for project delivery.
  • Facilitate user story workshops and elicit requirements from the project and client stakeholders.
  • Coordinate User and Customer Experience research activities
  • Identify areas of improvement for the Delivery Team and enable them to implement planned change.
  • Ensure transparency in the Management of project risks and issues, and communicate effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage project budgets and utilisation of team members.

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role you should:

  • Have an interest in Technology and an extensive background in projct management and delivery of Health Sector projects/NHS project environments
  • Be passionate about delivery and agile concepts; Agile experience highly desirable
  • Be focused on outcomes for the user and client
  • Have strong drive for self-improvement and the coaching of others
  • Have great communication skills and can tailor your approach to suit the team, individuals and clients
  • Act as a ‘Servant Leader’ ensuring you enable the team for successful delivery
  • Be a team player who wants to work in a collaborative environment
  • Want to work within a fast-paced environment

Your experience will include:

  • A minimum 5 years’ experience in one of the following roles or similar: Project Manager, Scrum Master, Delivery Lead, Product Owner
  • You have experience in an agile software delivery environment, including Scrum and Kanban methodologies
  • Scrum Master certification is beneficial but not essential.
  • Prince2 Qualification is a bonus
  • You must have the right to work and reside in the UK

This role is outside IR35 - to start asap and initially for 3-6 months
