This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing IT Team delivering a programme of works that involves a data centre migration and a green field Azure cloud build. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is working with new tech in the cloud and is looking for responsibility, ownership and variety. You will be regularly challenged with new technologies, services and ways of working in a fast paced environment. We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to help us build our Cloud capabilities and tooling to support the data centre migration and in-house engineering capabilities. We're looking for someone who can work alongside delivery and development teams and who is self-motivated and able to actively contribute new ideas to the Cloud platform and services we are building and supporting.


  • In depth experience with setup, configuration and maintenance of Azure Cloud service's and VMs (AD Connect, VLan's, App Services, VM's builds, NSG's, Routing etc)
  • Ability to learn and develop new tech skills as required supporting the strategy.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently to deliver objectives
  • Experience in high and low level cloud design
  • Experience in system maintenance, recovery and administration across Azure, Linux and Windows
  • Proven experience with Scripting languages, ie: Python NodeJS, Powershell
  • Demonstrate the capability to problem solve, look for solutions and communicate these openly in a timely manner.
  • Minimum 3 years Azure previous experience across design, build and support
  • Minimum 48 months previous experience in Technical Support role
  • Second/Third/Fourth Technical Support to all users including secure remote connections which are facilitated through edge infrastructure
  • Configuration of physical, virtual and cloud infrastructure, mobile devices, peripherals and software installations, including support for new server and end-user device build developments
  • Troubleshooting across data services/applications, voice and services including LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, access and authentication, ensuring timely resolution and/or if required escalation to the appropriate high level technology team
  • Data Centre Migration experience for windows based services
