The Role

We are looking for a strong admin resource to join the existing PMO team and support the wider Finance Change Team in successfully delivering our programmes.

This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate with career aspirations of working in Project Management / Change Management environment as you will be working closely with a very experienced team in a fast paced environment.

What you’ll be doing:

An initial list of responsibilities is given below.  However, our intention is that you will grow with the role, taking on increasing responsibilities within the team as you gain experience:

  • General administration tasks including some central calendar and diary management activities
  • Taking minutes, following up on outstanding actions and risk logs from key meetings
  • Overseeing programme resources including on boarding and off boarding of resources, supporting leave management
  • Providing support on processing invoices and some budget activities
  • Other ad hoc tasks to support the successful delivery of the programme

Our must-haves:

  • Proven experience as a project / team administrator providing support within a professional environment
  • Educated to A Level or equivalent standard with 5 GCSE passes (C or above or equivalent) including Maths and English
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills.  You will maintain a professional and confident approach at all times and have the ability to effectively build relationships with internal and external resources
  • Proactive and able to think ahead to anticipate issues, manage own workload and able to use initiative and make necessary decisions
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, remaining calm and effective at all times whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail
