Solirius, founded in 2007, delivers technical consultancy and application delivery. Our focus is on having a sound understanding of technology, how to implement it, and critically, how to bring this knowledge to bear to solve real world problems for our clients. We specialise in developing and advising on large systems which integrate with complex environments and business processes.


  • Collaborate with Product Managers for each of the services/Delivery Manager to ensure the delivery of the products and new features to a high standard and requirements captured and agreed 
  • Defining themes, features and epics to scope future phases of the project 
  • Assisting to shape and define team practices and processes to continually improve agile ways of working. 
  • Working with the business to develop new processes to support the growth of the business 
  • supporting the Product Manager and Delivery Manager in ensuring requirements have been captured 
  • Liaising with internal/external customers to analyse business procedures, clarify internal and client requirements and to define the scope of existing systems and processes 
  • Mapping existing business models and flows of data; and design functional specifications and test plans for new systems to meet internal and external requirements 
  • Evaluate information gathered, reconcile conflicts and be able to priorities requests from the underlying true requirements of the business. 
  • Fully responsible for ensuring that solution design and development is proactively communicated to all stakeholders in a timely and transparent fashion 
  • Provide successful business requirements across all services which are documented 

About you..

  • Someone who can work as part of a dynamic team who is adaptable and inherent in the agile software development approaches is focused on the flexibility required is a natural part of software development. 
  • Someone who can/is a calming centre in the midst of the storm who can be diplomatic and who is a good mediator 
  • Work towards sprints/goals and is time-box driven ideally while the team is focusing on completing the items on the backlog in a reactionary mode to be sure that the software is developed every two weeks, the AGILE 
  • Business Analyst is looking for new approaches to solving the business problem and improvements to the business processes in which the problem exists.


  • Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams delivering work-streams of work within a variety of methodologies (particularly Agile), so at least 5 of the beta live services that are supported 
  • Experience in providing relevant data in order to support product decisions based on evidence, driven by data driven approach also 
  • Ability to simplify complex problems into component parts and evaluate systematically when raising JIRA tickets (backlog) 
  • Maps requirements to Use Cases or User Stories dependent on complexity and clarity 
  • Experience of running and facilitating workshops, particularly at Discovery stage and to delivery MVP’s solutions around the services being supported part of the team using a hybrid-AGILE (SAFe) delivery framework 
  • Experience communicating concepts and ideas to stakeholders at all levels within organisations, including oral and written presentations, proposals and reports. 
  • Proven ability to influence decision-making at all levels within an organisation, and in a variety of contexts 
  • Experience gathering, analysing and interpreting product usage data.
