  • To work with the Head of Technology and other peers within and outside CDIO to develop and strengthen the CO’s operational resilience
  • To input into and help develop a single integrated incident response capability for CDIO
  • To support the CDIO in its plans to deliver a more cohesive approach to security i.e. CO level incident response (Gold/Silver/Bronze), integrated run books and testing across CO functions, including those reporting to the Prime Minister
  • To contribute to the development and maturity of the CO CDIO Directorate, representing Cyber Security at the senior leadership level and on relevant boards

  • Solid understanding of Cyber threats and mitigations in a fast-paced digital environment
  • Experience of developing strategies and owning final decisions on balancing quality and long-term sustainability with need for rapid delivery

Desirable Experience:

  • An understanding of new and emerging digital technologies and the opportunities they provide to improve the delivery of public services in the UK
