CloudStratex is a new type of consultancy. We are a disruptive technology start-up, founded by a team of industry veterans who over the past 18 years have built two other successful businesses and are now looking to disrupt the market for a third time.

We are looking for Service Desk Analysts to join us.

The Role

We are looking to build our capability with Service Desk Analysts roles. We have a current team of Analysts and Subject Matter Experts on-site, and we are looking to fill an immediate 3 month need and potentially build the team out in the long term. The role will predominantly be office-based, working on-site at one of our clients in Birmingham.

You will engage in:

  • Writing knowledge articles to assist and support users
  • Supporting service desk as required
  • Troubleshooting as and when required
  • Working with clients to understand incidents, requests and problems
  • Managing multiple toolsets to log and report on incidents, requests and problems
  • Developing reports to highlight trends and possible solutions to repeat incidents
  • Developing process workflows and improvements to process workflows

Requirements

All in all, we are looking for self-starters, with ideas they are determined to bring to life. You will have:

  • Superb customer service experience/capability
  • Good experience and capability with technology (i.e. Office365, Windows admin, troubleshooting)
  • Ideally previous experience in an IT service desk environment
  • Good communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts in a way that is easy for all to understand
  • A year in industry, an extra-curricular year out of education or an accumulation of work experience that demonstrates versatility
  • Demonstrated interest in the merge between technology and business, willing to learn technologies and understand the ecosystem behind it, including people, processes and tools
  • The ability to develop technical and business acumen
  • Any degree, if you can prove you have demonstrated critical thinking, interpersonal skills and the ability to pick up technical concepts
  • Practical project and time management skills and creative expertise demonstrated through personal development in and outside of education
  • Humility, and an attitude that is willing to learn like the rest of us

Salary: £150.00-£200.00 per day
