Service Management Analyst

 

Location: Wakefield (currently remote due to Covid-19)

Day rate: Circa £250 - £300 per day 

Job type: Contract

Start date: ASAP

Contract length: 3-6 Months

Working hours: 8am – 6pm, weekend work will also be required

 

We are looking for a highly experienced ITIL certified Service Management Analyst for a unique programme of works we are delivering with a long, established partner. You will be joining one of the UK's fastest growing Managed Service Providers who partner with top tier technology companies in both the Public & Private Sector.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·        Manage complex incidents across multiple suppliers both internally and externally, escalating issues where appropriate

·        Control Major Incident, Problem, Change and Risk Management processes

·        Proactively identify and manage the change and release activities across all service providers

·        Effectively co-ordinate the investigation and monitoring of events, ensuring they are dealt with quickly and efficiently

·        Apply a continuous improvement approach by assisting with service improvement activities cross-functionally

·        Coordinate with service desks to ensure they are aware of service performance updates and kept up to date with service changes

 

Experience Required:

 

·        ITIL v3 or v4 Service Management certification or equivalent practical experience

·        Strong stakeholder management capability

·        SIAM knowledge / experience

·        Strong team player with excellent communication skills

·        Ability to prioritise and work to tight timescales

·        Previous experience and knowledge of Incident, Change & Process Management

·        Candidates must be flexible for some weekend work
