Contract Description

Adarma are actively recruiting for a Security Consultant (ServiceNow) to join our Detection & Response (D&R) Practice on an initial 3 month FTC basis with a potential extension to 6 months. The contractor can be based in ideally Edinburgh or London, however, remote UK locations are available with occasional travel to either office.

The Security Consultant (ServiceNow) will be accountable for the provision of advice and recommendations for SecOps and GRC, based on expertise and experience, to address client needs. Dealing with our ServiceNow specialist area, the Consultant will address strategic business issues to support the implementation of agreed solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Recommend end-to-end IT security solutions, including architecture/design, process creation and development and basic project management, all in line with industry and ServiceNow good practice.
  • Confidently scope complex and critical projects as well as undertaking the implementation of ServiceNow SecOps and GRC applications and configurations in an agile approach.
  • Provide advice and guidance around IT security and ServiceNow SecOps and GRC configurations, across organisational and governance teams.
  • Ensure regular, clear and diligent communications with all project stakeholders and within the team.
  • Act as a mentor to staff members within multiple disciplines.
  • Regularly undertake complex and/or critical consultative engagements, to a senior management level.


Please also note that the successful applicant would be expected to engage via an FCSA accredited umbrella company for the duration of this contract.


Essential Skills/Experience:

  • ServiceNow SecOps and/or GRC Implementation specialist (JavaScript, RESTful service knowledge)
  • Proven experience of complex and/or large-scale ServiceNow solutions
  • Passion for IT Security
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Commercial acumen
  • Coaching and mentoring skills

Preferred Qualifications & Certification

  • A degree in an IT Security / Cyber related discipline or equivalent experience
  • ServiceNow SecOps and/or GRC Implementation certification
