As a Site Reliability Engineer, your main responsibilities would be: 

  • Developing tooling for automation and provisioning.
  • Design, build and run high availability microservices on AWS ECS / Fargate in a production system.
  • Develop/operate a continuous deployment system targeting Amazon ECS / Fargate in a production environment (ideally using Concourse).


You’ll have relevant experience in:


  • Working in multidisciplinary agile teams
  • AWS, ECS and Terraform
  • Software development (TDD, code review, pairing)
  • Coach and mentor devops colleagues in developing infrastructure skill sets
  • Languages such as Ruby, Go or Python



You will also have these Qualifications/Skills:


  • Public sector experience
