Role objectives:

This role will be based on an initial 3 month contract, but with a view to be extended.

This is the ideal role for a proactive Project Manager with experience of implementing Microsoft solutions and managing a technical team to further their career with a Microsoft AI Gold Partner.

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for delivering solutions to a range of leading clients mainly in the Public Sector (Health, Education and Government)

You will be expected to engage with the customers’ business, understand it and have some creative ability on the small projects at least where there is no BA on board.

 


Software development PM experience

 


Solution’s are likely to be based on the latest Microsoft technologies, including, Microsoft Azure (Bot Framework, Cognitive Services, Machine Learning and Cosmos DB), Office 365, Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Teams. In this key role, you will be tasked with managing the team and delivering projects successfully, on schedule and within budget. You will be responsible for all aspects of realistic project plans, including resourcing needs, managing the delivery of the solution, executing and coordinating from initiation through to final delivery.

 


Your other duties will include:

  • Liaising between technical and non-technical departments
  • Management of a small technical internal team
  • Attending internal and external meetings
  • Work with sales and customers to develop existing accounts
  • Ensuring requirements and functionality for the solution are clearly defined and documented
  • Resource planning with PMO
  • Preparing weekly status reports on project progress with regards to scope, schedule, and budget
Whilst this role is based in our Hampshire office, this role is currently remotely based due to COVID guidelines.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • 5+ years Project management experience, including managing technical teams.
  • 5+ year experience of implementing Microsoft solutions using Microsoft technologies and delivering Software development projects.



As a Project Manager you must be a team player with the ability to work to your own initiative. A flexible and organised approach is also key.
