As Performance Management Officer, you will: 

  • Play a key role in ensuring that the Demonstrator Project influences the policy design and delivery of the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund programme by delivering key data and insights into local authority project
  • Collate monthly project reports from local authorities and be responsible for quality assurance of data, ensuring that the data is robust and reliable
  • Maintain key project assets including the KPI and milestone tracker; use this data to track project performance, produce project reports and, inform decisions
  • Work with colleagues across the SHDF team to understand data needs and work with the performance management team to deliver on these
  • Help with the delivery of the partner meetings by preparing and sending out meeting agendas, noting, and tracking actions and recording decisions
  • Work with the delivery partner to track local authority reporting
  • Support BEIS engagement in project site visits
  • Monitor project risks and issues and escalate them where necessary
  • Record and track project change requests from local authorities
  • Manage grant claims, work with colleagues to update forecasts and ensure Local Authorities are paid in line with grant agreements

 

 

You’ll have:

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; the ability to process data to identify trends
  • The ability to effectively communicate using verbal, written and presentation skills to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Project management skills
  • Previous experience of working within a fast-paced project environment including working to deadlines and managing risk

 

It’ll be great to also have:

  • The ability to use software to manipulate and analyse data (for example, using Excel or other software to merge, analyse and consolidate data using pivot tables, functions and charts)
