Contract Description

We are looking for an Active Directory Migration Engineer for a 6-month contract.

This opportunity is available for both onsite and remote working.

You will work for the End User Experience project team, assisting with the migrations of users between two Active Directory forest as part of a Windows 10 migration. You will apply standard process and follow direction from the application team lead. You will maintain proper focus for the User Services team’s productivity and high-quality standard.


Main Duties and Responsibilities

·Assist with the migration of users between two Active Directory forests

·Drive decisions from analysis in regards to user’s Active Directory profiles

·Work closely with application teams to ensure that they can authenticate between the two forests

·Work within the EUX project team as part of the Windows 10 Migration team

·Operate in a global team to support the migrations

·Perform various report required for tracking the department’s productivity


General and Technical Skills:

·Active Directory knowledge of best practices and different authentication methods

·Experience in similar Active Directory migrations previously

·Scripting and PowerShell knowledge in regards to Active Directory

·In-depth analysis and reporting skills

·Have a history of working in a mission-critical environment.

·Background in financial services or similar regulated industry preferred.

·Microsoft App-v

·AppSense Application manager, environment manager, user personalisation

·Citrix XenApp

·SCCM (latest versions)

·PowerShell and automation

·Windows Operating Systems (Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows Server 2016)

·Microsoft Group Policy

·Microsoft DHCP/DNS

·VMware vSphere
