What will the Performance Tester be doing day-to-day?

  • Review Application to understand process
  • Identify data requirements for performance tests
  • Develop stress test scenarios for performance testing
  • Develop scaling user scenarios for performance testing
  • Integrate and run tests
  • Report on results

What type of experience does the Performance Tester need to be successful in this role?

  • Able to work unsupervised as this is short term role they should be knowledgeable and experienced with load testing
  • Logs analysis for detection of memory leaks and/or relevant data for reporting
  • Experience in analysis of application architecture to identify possible bottlenecks
  • APIs performance testing
  • Suggest and propose performance improvements to architects/Devs
  • Testing data preparation

Does the Performance Tester role require travel?

The role is currently 100% working from home. However, we require individuals the reside within close proximity to Reading.
