Who we’re looking for:

We’re currently looking for a QlikView Developer to join our team based remotely, on a 3 Month, Day Rate Contract.

As a minimum requirement you’ll have:

  • 3+ years’ experience with QlikView/QlikSense
  • Strong experience of User Interface (UI) design and Visualisation
  • Strong knowledge of the full lifecycle for creating BI solutions, including data requirements, integration, storage and modelling, reporting and analytic tools and overall solutioning

Desirable but not essential:

  • Experience with Tableau
  • Previous experience working in a change/transformation project
  • Awareness of add-on’s and broader environment for Qlik

What you’ll be doing:

As a QlikView Developer you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the end-to-end delivery of group-wide BI self-service analysis and insight solutions using SQL Server and QlikSense to meet regulatory and business critical needs
  • Working with source system owners to source appropriate data, then transforming, loading and modelling that data for consumption and exploitation through QlikSense/View
  • Building dashboards and self-service insight capabilities within QlikSense/View
  • Providing Business Intelligence expertise and specialist advice to stakeholders across the organisation
  • As well as designing, building and testing the solutions, you will play a key role in training users, running enablement sessions, and ensuring that adoption rates remain high across teams and individuals, thus ensuring that users of the solutions feel confident in using
  • Providing BI consultancy and expertise to federated BI developers to ensure that any changes to existing BI solutions and environments are understood, managed, and delivered in line with governance standards
  • Mentoring and coaching less-experienced team members and contributing to the delivery of a group-wide BI tools training programme that reduces supplier spend and drives consistent best practice
  • Responsible for driving continual improvement in internal BI platform processes, to ensure an optimal service exists for all customers of the reporting platforms
