Software Developer at iFacility, Bristol, 6 Months, £Contractor Rate

We are looking for a web developer to work alongside our existing team, who are responsible for the growth and maintenance of our web portal (myFacility), our internal ERP system, and other software platforms. The team have created, and continue to develop our people counting, evidence handling and people-management solutions, amongst others. Come join our dynamic and friendly team!

Working hours

This is a contract position, so working hours are chosen by you! However we do need you to attend a daily 'standing ' meeting with our dev team.

Location

Remote working.

Skills and experience

Essential requirements (please don 't apply if you don 't have these skills);

• Front-end (HTML, CSS, JS)
• PHP
• MySQL

Would be an advantage;

• MVC framework (Codeigniter, Laravel)
• Wordpress
• Bootstrap
• SASS

Person specification

The ideal contractor will have at least 3 years' experience as a developer with the specified technologies. They will be passionate about their work and will be able to demonstrate this by showing us previous work/projects that they have completed. They are a good problem solver. They will be professional and helpful when dealing with customers, who will mainly be 'internal' customers.

They will have a 'can-do' attitude, and will be willing to learn new things to be able to complete their work. They will be resilient and tenacious when solving problems.

Contract terms

Contract is reviewed on a 6-monthly basis, with 4 weeks ' notice given for contract termination.

You must have professional indemnity insurance.
