The role can be considered on either a permanent or contract basis - if contract: the contract will initially be for 9 months and the position is classed as inside of IR35. We cannot explore engaging via Ltd companies for this position - the use of an umbrella is mandated.

What type of experience does the Technical Architect/Engineer need to be successful in this role?
While the team delivers data platforms and solutions - the requirement is for an Azure expert - rather than a data expert.
What will the Technical Architect/Engineer be doing day-to-day?
The role will sit within a team that works at the data platform level for this customer - covering data platforms and analytics across the organisation. This function is the heart and soul of data for this company; its customers being the various business areas across the organisation.
The role will sit in a team that works with a range of internal stakeholders to take them through their data journey.
The Cloud Engineer will work with the team to help guide the customer to the right solution; using Azure expertise to explain the pro's and con's of different solutions and approaches.
Once the solution is identified, the team will then build the data solution in the form of an MVP and deliver it for the customer into their operation.

The role is currently 100% working from home however some to client sites in South West London and in central London office will be required in the future. These sites are easily accessed from Reading & the eastern M4 corridor, from down the M3 to Winchester/Basingstoke/Farnborough, from areas such as Hounslow, Putney and Twickenham, and from anywhere accessible from Waterloo station in London.
