Network Engineer at Exception Ltd, Glasgow, 6 Months, £Contract Rate

Exception is looking for a Network Engineer to join an existing team in Glasgow, working on site with a key client.

The role will be part of Exception's established team providing technical expertise on several projects as well as BAU. As a Network Engineer you will be responsible for implementation of changes to the networks, monitoring and reporting of the network environments across multiple sites and overall maintenance of network and Firewalls.

Candidates will have experience of managing/working within a large ICT infrastructure support environment involving multiple load balancer, Firewall technologies and switching/routing services across multiple environments. This will be part of a team handling project network tasks and BAU.

The role will involve the following:

• Building F5 LTM virtual Servers
• Adding client and Server Side ssl profiles
• Creating pools with persistence profiles and correct health monitors
• Configuring iRules to select pools based on URL or URI of incoming request
• Using TMOS Shell and TCPDUMP for troubleshooting.
• Understanding HA and network configuration on F5.
• Any experience of F5 Viprions would be an advantage
