Service Manager (Inside IR35)

Contract Term: 3 months

Contracting Authority: NHS Digital

Location: Remote for term of contract – Office in Leeds

Are you an experienced Service Manager? Do you have experience in agile? Do you have experience in ITSM? Are you ITIL qualified? NHS Digital are looking for a Service Manager on an interim basis.

As Service Manager you will: 

  • Perform defined tasks to monitor service delivery against service level agreements and maintains records of relevant information. Analyses service records against agreed service levels regularly to identify actions required to maintain or improve levels of service, and initiates or reports these actions.
  • Engage with project management to confirm that products developed meet the service acceptance criteria and are to the required standard. Feeds into change management processes.
  • Assess, analysing, develop, document and implement changes based on requests for change.
  • Initiate and monitors actions to investigate and resolve problems in systems, processes and services. Determines problem fixes/remedies. Assists with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures.
  • Ensure that incidents are handled according to agreed procedures.

You’ll have:

  • A master’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • ITIL Practitioner, VeriSM Foundation or equivalent experience.
  • Prince 2 Agile Foundation


It would be great to also have:

  • NHS background
