Contract DevOps Engineer (Windows)

Location: Remote (UK)

Day Rate: £500 - £550 p/day

We’re an award-winning consultancy with an awesome team working together to help our clients on their digital transformation and cloud journeys. If collaboration inspires you and you’re driven to make a real difference to both people and organisations, we’re on the look out for an experienced DevOps Engineer (Windows) on a Contract basis to work with a DevOpsGroup squad of Engineers, to help our customer accelerate their software delivery capability, within their current on-prem estate. It's a Windows environment, so you'll already be familiar and comfortable using the Microsoft tech stack.

Even though we have offices in Cardiff & London, we fully support remote and flexible working here at DevOpsGroup, so if you are not currently residing in these locations, we would still love to hear from you.

What you'll do...

• CI/CD pipeline engineering using Azure DevOps for build & release
• Infrastructure engineering/automation
• Configuration management automation
• Creation of Monitoring and Alerting Dashboards
• Automation of test suites
• Documentation and writing HLDs
• Knowledge transfer and pairing with other members of the team

Tech Stack...

• Windows Server 2016 and MS SQL
• SQL version control
• Azure DevOps
• Ansible
• OutSystems and Mulesoft pipelines
• VMware
• Any experience with Redgate technologies such as Readyroll is a bonus - DB deployment automation (preferred)
