What stage is rinkl at?

After 5 months since raising initial funding, along with another raise in Jan ‘21, our founders and highly talented contracting team are on the verge of bringing to market the next brilliantly designed version of the desktop and mobile apps.

rinkl has a marketing spend in place, with plenty of runway for 12 months, in order to optimise our products and scale the user base, in order to achieve series A funding.

About the founders

Jack Burke, CEO, a former YouTube employee and filmmaker who understands the content creator landscape intimately. He’s created numerous content campaigns, working alongside influencers, for major global brands such as Adidas, Pinterest, Google, Booking.com and eBay.

He’s also a creator in his own right, with 750,000+ views on his YouTube channel to-date. Jack’s passion, energy and commitment to rinkl also saw him enrol in a full-time coding course enabling him to build the front-end of our previous MVP, which help secure our investment.

Guv Marwaha, CTO, was the first engineer at Resi, a VC backed start-up disrupting the architecture industry. He scaled the product team to 7, working directly with the serial founders. Guv already has one exit to his name as well, having built Kaampus that was acquired by Gradtouch in late 2019.

The Role

Over the last 3 months, an external UK agency has been building our mobile app, which is now approximately 90% complete. With the contract now finished and in conjunction with our recent funding, we are now looking for a highly talented and passionate individual to complete the app and so reiterate and optimise over the next few months.

We are looking for someone to take complete ownership and control over this element of the business. Although the role is not a full time position, we are hoping for a freelance contract that becomes part of our wider team on a long term basis.

Responsibilities will include;

• Finishing and improving on the build of this first version of our iOS and Android app.
• Working directly with our CTO to maintain, optimise and evolve the mobile products.
• Devising, building and testing new features.
• Monitoring and maintenance of the app once live.
• Investigating, understanding and reconciling user feedback for product optimisation.

Ideal Qualifications / Experience;

• 4+ years with React Native
• Substantial experience working with GraphQL and Typescript
• Worked as Senior Developer within a company that has scaled a tech product/platform.
• Worked with video sharing applications in the past
• Backend experience with Rails is desirable

• Start immediately
• 2 weeks full time for initial sprint
