This role

We are looking for a self-directed MLOps Engineer with strong Python coding skills to join our growing team. The hire will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying enterprise-wide cloud infrastructure to drive business values. The MLOps Engineer will support the DevOps, Data scientist and Business stakeholders on data initiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery and machine learning serving architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities

=       Oversee all aspects of the project's cloud infrastructure

=       Setup cloud alerts, monitors, dashboards, logging, etc.

=       Productionise Proof-of-Concept (PoC) and Proof-of-Value (PoV) ML models

=       Automate ML models deployments

=       Manage, monitor, troubleshoot machine learning infrastructure

=       Setup continuous integration pipelines of multiple applications

=       Integrate with existing on-prem Spark Hadoop infrastructure, including migrating to GCP Dataproc

=       Lead a small team in agile ML and software development


Essential Skills & Experience

=       5+ years of industry experience

=       2+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including with Docker containers and Kubernetes

=       Experience with deep learning frameworks specifically TensorFlow

=       Experience building auto-scaling end-to-end ML systems

=       Experience with database systems including BigQuery, Postgres, MongoDB

=       Strong programming skills in Python

=       Test driven development

=       Very good knowledge of Linux system

=       Knowledge of RESTful web services

=       Post graduate qualifications (quantitative MSc / PhD) in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, Physics, Engineering or any other relevant quantitative discipline

=       Programming skills in Scala and Java
