Service Delivery Manager/Delivery Manager - Nuclear  - Inside IR35  

The Service Delivery Manager will join LLW Repository customer team managing a portfolio of customers and provide management solutions to their waste query.

As Service Delivery Manager you will:

  • Manage new and existing Customer requests and any relevant training and guidance to allow access to the organisation Waste Services.
  • Manage the Waste Management Services Business Development Pipeline, ensuring is fully populated for given portfolio.
  • Liaise with customers to ensure that LLWR are aware of future needs and opportunities and promote the use of LLW Repository Ltd’s Waste Service portfolio to deliver those needs.
  • Manage waste delivery projects from business development pipeline through to execution and close out as defined in the Waste Services Value Stream ensuring that delivery, cost, quality, value, and risk are monitored and managed.
  • Set plans and priorities, manage workloads, and hold people to account to deliver.
  • Support procurement leading on the technical aspects of the Service Specification for new and existing Waste Services on behalf of the Waste Management Services Organisation.


You’ll have:

  • Strong technical knowledge of radioactive waste treatment and disposal techniques and waste acceptance criteria of different routes
  • Demonstrable experience of working with customers to develop radioactive waste management solutions
  • Demonstrable experience working with customers to manage expectations and conflict resolution. Presentation and facilitation skills and experience


It would be great to also have:

  • Knowledge of the UK and international radioactive waste management supply chain
  • Knowledge and experience of transport and packaging of radioactive materials
  • Project management experience of radioactive waste project lifecycle
