IT Support Analyst at BTO Solicitors, Remote, 6-12 Months, £Apply with Rate

BTO have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Support Analyst to join the Firm on a contract basis for a period of 6 to 12 months. This role will provide IT support across our 3 offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Helensburgh and you will be part of a team that is both working and supporting remotely for now.  However, there may be occasions where office visits are required to deal with critical technical support.

Our project portfolio for the next 18 months will be demanding on the IT team as we upgrade the majority of our enterprise applications and roll out our digital transformation initiatives.  Your main workload will be to provide 1/2nd line support, but you will be required to assist with projects as they move into BAU.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working as part of the IT team to deal with faults, issues and requests from staff in the Firm’s 3 offices as they come into IT via the helpdesk system.
• Our IT systems and services are a combination of cloud and on prem and hence contact and liaison with 3rd parties will be required. You must be able to manage this efficiently and effectively.

Essential skills and experience required:

• Experience of building, configuring and supporting a Windows 10 desktop infrastructure
• Experience of supporting Microsoft Office and Exchange
• Knowledge and Awareness of DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP
• Comfortable with working in a professional services environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• A self-motivated, logical and organised approach
• Ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and able to work to tight deadlines

Desirable:

• Thompson Reuters 3E and MatterSphere case and matter management applications
• NetDocs DMS
• Rekoop/Intapp
• Software deployment and Patching
