About us
We have been working with our client for the past three years, to develop, build and roll out nationwide, a SCOM 2016 monitoring solution.
To help us to continue to deliver a high-quality service to our client, we now require a skilled and security cleared SCOM specialist(s) to join the team and assist with our scheduled SCOM 2019 upgrade.
About you
To join this team, you must hold current valid SC Clearance – please do not apply if you do not meet this level of clearance.
Your skill set and experience should cover the following:
- SCOM 2019 upgrade, highly desirable
- Powershell scripting, highly desirable
- Monitoring of physical and virtual components using SCOM agents
- Programming skills, C# and .Net
- Monitoring of physical and virtual components using SNMPv2
- Hypervisor and Virtual Machine monitoring through SCOM integration with SCVMM
- Hardware monitoring through SCOM integration with HPE OneView
- SQL monitoring through SCOM integration with SSRS
- ACS to support security event log forwarding and protective monitoring
If your experience mirrors the majority of work listed above, we would be pleased to hear from you. Please note however that if you do not have SCOM 2019 upgrade experience AND SC clearance we will not be able to consider you to join the team.

Start Date: March / April 2021
Duration: 6 months
Location: Largely remote working but may require some time on client site in South West England (approx 40%) subject to Covid-19 conditions.
